Portabee is a affordable and high quality DIY 3D printer designed & made in Singapore based on RepRap heritage.
It had been out for a while and it's open source. Don't be fool by its look (I did). This thing can print quite cool stuff, just as good as a Makerbot, for just $499 (http://bit.ly/LSjiNl).
A couple of weeks ago, I found out that the man behind it is actually a long lost friend, KP, that used to live around the corner. He is quite a nerd and knows nothing about what we can do (on top of Marketing ...hahaha). So I convert his files into STEP and rendered to show him =)
The STL files he released are uploaded HERE. You can find more on his site listed above, together with his assembly manual.
Currently I am tasked by KP to make improvements on its reliability and costing.
